David von Storch, President and Founder

David founded VIDA Fitness and Aura Spa based on his passion for combining fitness and wellness. VIDA Fitness opened its first location at the Verizon Center in August 2006 and now operates three locations in Washington, DC with five additional locations now under active development. Aura Spa is located at the VIDA Fitness Logan Circle/Metropole and Renaissance Hotel locations. Bang Salon, a high-energy, high volume moderately priced salon opened Bang on U Street in 2001, teamed up with VIDA Fitness and opened in both the Verizon Center and Metropole locations.

Outside of VIDA Fitness, David founded and is President of Capitol City Brewing Company which started Capitol City in 1991 and now operates restaurant/breweries in three locations in Washington, DC and Virginia, As part of the Capitol City Brewing Company family, Café 1612 opened in 2003 to offer a stylized and healthy café for the community. David owns the building at 1612 U Street, NW, which is the home of Bang Salon, Café 1612 and will be converted to a flagship VIDA Fitness in 2011. Additionally, David was founder and President of DAKOTA Nightclub/MONTANA Café. This highly successful restaurant/bar/nightclub opened in 1987 in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington. Prior to that, David was the Assistant Director, Project Finance, for The Rouse Company (now General Growth Properties).

David received a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina.

Jaime Andrews - General Manager
General Manager

Jaime joined the VIDA team in May of 2007 as a personal trainer with 3 years of management experience in the fitness & spa industry working for the Ritz Carlton. As Assistant General Manager of the Metropole VIDA, Jaime will be working w/the membership, on a day to day basis, primarily responsible for ensuring the Front Desk, Fuel Bar & Aura spa team provides the gold standard in customer service & support.

Aaron Moore
Regional Manager

Aaron arrived at VIDA in June 2007 after spending the previous 2 years coaching college football at Ohio University. Aaron oversees operations and future planning for all VIDA Fitness locations. In addition to his background in the fitness industry, Aaron also brings a wide variety of experience in athletics at the high school, college, and professional levels. His office is located at 1612 U Street NW, Suite 400 WDC 20009.

Regional Director of Sales and Marketing

James comes to VIDA with over 12 years experience in the fitness industry concentrating on individual memberships and corporate wellness. As Regional Director of Sales & Marketing for the company, James is responsible for overseeing all sales, advertiising and marketing activities, as well as the sales personnel at the Verizon Center, Metropole and Renaissance VIDA locations. His office is located at 1612 U Street, NW Suite 400 WDC 20009

Elaine has been nationally certified and licensed as a massage therapist since 2007 when she joined the VIDA team. In 2008 with the opening of Aura Spa, Elaine headed up the department to oversee the operations and development of the spa. "Aura Spa is a boutique, therapeutic day spa, where guests come to achieve a more balenced lifestyle, through cusomized massages and skin care for each individual's needs." She acitivley works in the spa providing therapeutic treatments, and ensures that clients recieve the best quality service and amenities.
